2010 Miami International Triathlon Champion Matt Chrabot picked up swimming at an early age. Swimming on various club teams and for George Mason University, Chrabot soon realized he also had a talent for running while participating in beach lifesaving competitions. Inspired after reading Lance Armstrong’s “It’s Not About the Bike”, Chrabot joined the road cycling team at George Mason, giving him the final piece to start training for triathlons.

After turning pro in 2006, Matt has gone on to claim two top ten finishes at the World Championship Series and two Pan American Championship titles. Ending his 2010 season ranked No.1 in the United States and No. 12 in the world, Chrabot has established himself as the American man to beat for a 2012 Olympic berth. Next up for Matt is August’s World Championship Series stop in London, the first Olympic qualifier.
