Josh Schneider’s recent success at the 2010 Short Course World Championships in Dubai included winning the Bronze medal in the 50m freestyle and breaking the American record with his time of 20.88. In addition, Schneider garnered a gold medal in the 4×100m medley relay. A standout collegiate competitor for the University of Cincinnati, Schneider is the reigning NCAA Champion in the 50y freestyle. Schneider is also a 5x All-American, 7x Big East Conference Champion, 2x Big East Swimmer of the Year, and the holder of five school records (50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 50 fly, 100 fly). With his myriad of accomplishments, it is surprising to note that Josh did not even start swimming full time until he got to college.
