Olympic Record holder Matt Grevers brought home the gold for the USA in the 100m backstroke with a time of 52.18 at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. In addition to this incredible podium finish, Grevers also went on to win a second gold for his swim in the 400m medley relay and a silver for his participation in the 400m freestyle relay.
