The winner of 2011 Ironman Cozumel, Michael Lovato is a veteran triathlete with nearly ten years of experience at the Ironman distance.  Michael’s first Ironman win came in 2003 at Ironman Coeur d’Alene.  He then went on to win Ironman Arizona in 2006.  Finishing in the top ten at the Ironman World Championships in 2003, 2007, and 2009, Michael will look to eclipse his career-best 9th place finish in Kona this year.  Michael resides in Boulder, Colorado and Austin, Texas with his wife Amanda and their two dogs, Luna and Blue.  Michael also enjoys commentating, interviewing, and working with his sponsors at North American Ironman events.
