Andy Potts likes to challenge himself. In college, he could have just coasted on his  swimming abilities at the University of Michigan (dude earned a 4th place finish at the ‘96 Olympic trials and was named All-American six times). But instead, he went out for track his senior year. Triathlons were the next logical step. To the frustration of his fellow competitors, he has stayed in the sport, winning the 2005 World Cup, posting five victories in 2009 and taking the 2010 Coeur d’Alene Ironman. His wife, Lisa, is a former gymnast and acrobat in the Cirque Du Soleil. They pooled their athletic genes to produce son, Boston, and daughter, Sloane, so watch out!
