The toughest Ironman we know is a woman. Chrissie is undefeated at the Ironman distance. She discovered her endurance abilities mountain-biking in the Himalayas while working for a non-profit organization in Nepal. A native of Great Britain, Chrissie is self-motivated enough to compete against the clock — she proved this by breaking her own record, again, at Roth and finished so far ahead of everyone else, there wasn’t a competitor in sight. She can be found hanging around the world record books — she holds the one for the Ironman distance at 8:19:13!
