Mark WARKENTIN

The longer the race, the better. That's Mark Warkentin's motto while fighting the choppy waters and rough currents as one of America's top open water swimmers. Mark is the first American in history to qualify for the Olympic Team in open water swimming. Mark was a Top Ten Qualifier at the 2008 World Championship in the 10k, earning himself a spot in the Olympic Finals. Mark captured the 2008 World Championship Silver medal in the 25k. Mark is the celebrated 2007 U.S. National Champion (10K) and the Four-time World University Games Gold medalist.
