Fast Swimming Continues at the USA Swimming Austin Grand Prix
On the second day of the competition in Austin, Elizabeth Tinnon took second place in the 100-meter breaststroke. She recorded a time of 1:09.49 in the long course event.
In the 100-meter backstroke, Mary DeScenza earned silver in 1:01.88 and then later secured bronze in the 200-meter freestyle in 2:00.61. She remains the Grand Prix series leader after day two of racing among a deep field of competitors.
