Rain showers and thunderstorms did not stop TYR-sponsored Andy Potts and Becky Lavelle from taking control of the pro-field Sunday, July 26th to each capture silver medals at the 9th Annual Nautica New York City Triathlon in New York, New York.
Starting the 2009 FINA World Championships in winning fashion was TYR-Sponsored Matt Grevers and the members the U.S. men’s 4×100m freestyle relay, as they re-wrote the championship record to capture gold on the first night of swimming competition in Rome, Italy.
It is with much excitement that TYR announces the signing of Magali Tisseyre to the list of the sports top triathletes, through 2011.

After fighting an appeal over the controversial men’s 10K open water race that took place on Wednesday, July 22nd, USA’s Fran Crippen was declared the Bronze medalist at the 13th FINA World Championship in Rome, Italy.
Representing the TYR-sponsored Spanish Federation, Gemma Mengual and Andrea Fuentes finished second in the duet technical final for synchronized swimming Tuesday, July 21st at the 13th FINA World Championships in Rome, Italy.
