Taylor Victorious at Vineman 70.3

Pip Taylor celebrated with her 3L bottle Chardonnay trophy Sunday, July 19 after winning the women’s pro race at the Vineman 70.3 Ironman in Sonoma County, CA. With a comfortable lead headed to the finish line, Taylor fought off a painful calf cramp to clinch the victory at her first appearance on the course.

TYR Triathletes Wrap Up Successful Weekend

Continuing through the heavy schedule of triathlons this summer, TYR-sponsored triathletes are dominating at all course lengths, continuing to establish a name for themselves on the international field. This past Saturday, July 11th, and Sunday, July 12th, proved to be no exception as Chrissie Wellington broke the women’s Ironman-distance world record, Andy Potts and Becky Lavelle placed in the top three at the Life Time Fitness race in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Desiree Flicker finished second at the Amica Ironman 70.3 Rhode Island Ironman.

Congratulations TYR Swimmers and Coaches

Two-time Ironman World Champion and TYR-sponsored Chrissie Wellington captured the women’s title at the historic Quelle Challenge Roth Sunday, July 12th in her race debut, demolishing the women’s Ironman-distance world record by over 13 minutes.
