Huntington Beach, Calif. – March 29, 2010 – TYR athlete Mirinda Carfrae celebrated a victory at the Saturday, March 27th Ironman 70.3 California race in Oceanside, California. Finishing in 4:20:29, she had one of the fastest swim splits of the race (26:15) wearing the new Hurricane Category 5 wetsuit.

Richie Cunningham raced in the TYR Hurricane wetsuit on his way to a fourth place overall finish in the men’s professional division. His swim split for the 1.2-mile leg was 22:47.

Huntington Beach, Calif. – January 29, 2010 – TYR continues to expand its elite roster of world-class athletes with the signing of triathlon “King of Swim” John Flanagan. The Hawaii native competed in the company’s Sayonara swimskin when leading out of the water at the 2009 Ironman World Championships. At the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Clearwater, FL on Saturday, November 14th, Canadian Magali Tisseyre blew away the field on the run to capture third in 4:05:27. The time bettered her 2008 championship performance by over 22 minutes, validating the leaps and bounds she has made in the sport over the past year.
