Awesome, yet versatile bag!

Mar 4, 2014 | Posted by Anna | Gender: Female Sport Interest: Swimming Age: 13-17

I had the bag for quite a while now, and its worth every single penny that I paid. I use it for everything, from swim practises, travelling and even school. Its durable, holds everything, and waterproof. I had nearly 10 lbs. of textbooks and binders in this bag and it holds up very well. The quality is very excellent and zippers work efficiently. The only thing I would complain about the bag is that the straps are not very sturdy and can slip off my shoulder from time to time. Overall, this is an awesome bag, and I prefer more over the generic speedo backpack.

GREAT BAG, BAD ZIPPERS

Jan 14, 2014 | Posted by Anonymous | Gender: Female Sport Interest: Swimming Age: 35-44

I love this bag, especially because I tend to overpack for the gym, taking almost my whole bathroom with me. There is a TON of room and I love the front pocket to put wet suits etc in. The only reason it got a lower rating from me is the side pocket zippers broke within two weeks of owning it. It hasn't been a huge deal, as I keep my shower shoes in one of them which requires them to stay open anyways. But you'd think for the price the zippers wouldn't break so easy. With that said, I would definitely recommend this bag.

overall great!!

Dec 25, 2013 | Posted by Kayla | Gender: Female Sport Interest: Swimming Age: 13-17

I love my swim bag and I use it for anything where i need to lug a bunch of stuff around. I have had it for over a year now, and i had a smaller one just like it for almost 5 years before so i must say i like these bags. My only problem is the fit of the bag. The way its designed pulls down on my shoulders and can hurt my back after a hard practice. I would also like if they had a bit more of a variety of colors like pink. Even though I do love these bags because they are so durable.

TYR Backpack

Jun 21, 2013 | Posted by T | Gender: Male Sport Interest: Training Age: 25-34

I've had this bag for close to two years and it's still rocking. All in all it's huge and really fits a ton of gear. I use it just about everyday for work and the gym. Caribeeners come in handy at the oddest times. Totally recommend!

Great design, poor Chinese assembly!

Jun 7, 2013 | Posted by Jarret

Great alternative to a huge triathlon transition bag. Unfortunately, what TYR did here was slap their logo which currently has value and standing in MultiSport on a poorly assembled product. The stitching has all started to come undone after just a few weeks of using it. As a Trihlete, I use every compartment on this bag and pack it full. I expect something from TYR to be well made - this was not. Cannondale and Specialized would never risk their reputations on substandard bikes... TYR needs to seriously check their supply lines and quality control.

Potentially Great bag but needs a design fix

Mar 10, 2013 | Posted by Lisa

The bottom is not a durable material. It easily rips. This is our second one. I'm hoping they can improve it.

This TYR backpack is great. My team ordered these recently and they are very comfortable and hold all my stuff!

Product Questions & Answers (5)

  • Q: Is there a chest strap? Abdomen strap? My current TYR backpack has both a chest strap and an abdomen straps and I find that the combination of two straps cinches the shoulder straps nicely.

  • Q: What is the capacity of this bag? 30L? 50L?

  • Q: Does this backpack come with a bottle holder? Can only see one side in picture.

  • Q: Is there room for a kick board?

  • Q: How do I care for this bag? I can't find a tag on here anywhere saying how to care for the bag.
