Present in all goggle categories, this type of gasket is the most common and most versatile. Height and width change to accommodate certain swimming applications and facial types, while maintaining an excellent seal and level of comfort.

These goggles leak water even when the straps are tightened. The lenses also lose their transparency in no time, due to the fact that they are unable to resist scratching..

NO stars isn't an option - but that's how I'd rate this mask, based on my experience with several of them.
For indoor and cloudy outdoor continuous 2000-yd or 2000m workouts, I prefer clear lenses. I've tried 4 of the clear tyr hydrovision masks (I'm on my 5th one now). All have leaked upon entry in the water or within the first 100 yds. quickly filling up and becoming useless. Adjustments to strap tightness or placement, face position, etc. are no help. As noted in a separate review, the metallized model is a fine mask: wide field of view, comfortable, leak-free, reasonable cost (but it has weak anti-fog and scratch-resistant coatings).
This will be my last clear-lens hydrovision mask if it leaks like its predecessors: I'll switch to Aquasphere or some other brand that doesn't leak.
