Found paddles to be too soft, thereby removing there ability to function as described.

They bend

Nov 29, 2014 | Posted by Sonny | Gender: Male Sport Interest: Swimming Age: 35-44

I bought the large to replace 2 other set of old paddles that I have. After trying them for the first time notice that they bend. I have the Catalyst 1 which I was replacing because I do not like the strap options that they have but they are sturdier than the Catalyst 2 which I like. I decided on buying the 2 because of the lacing options but did not like them because like in the previous review I found to "Filmsy"

Too Flimsy

Oct 23, 2014 | Posted by Eric | Gender: Male Sport Interest: Swimming Age: 35-44

I am a big fan of the original Catalyst paddle. This new version is quite flimsy. I like to wear them upside down so they work as a forearm paddle and improve high elbow technique. That is not possible with this paddle because they bend too easily and allow a dropped elbow.
