Amazing!

I've tested this suit first hand against a number of other brands and the Torque Pro is by far the best. The hydrophilic and hydrophobic construction is insane and the suit basically turns into "fish skin" when it's wet. Well worth the price if you're looking to really elevate your swim time and removal is a breeze at transition.

Very poor quality

This suit was purchased late in season and used two times for a practice swim. Once in a 70.3 race. Didn't use at all until tried to use at IM St. Croix this year and zipper would not unzip without some one doing it for me and having to really work at it. Not much good if you cannot remove the suit in a race.

To cater to different needs and budgets , TYR engineers two triathlon lines. Competitor garments offer a compressive fit, while carbon garments offer a super compressive fit for a second-skin feel. You should select your same, standards size for both carbon and competitor garments but expect slightly different fits.

Product Questions & Answers (9)

  • Q: Is this suit legal for WTC events? Official Ironman events that is? It looks rubberized in the picture and it is my understanding that they no longer allow a rubberized coating. Thanks.

  • Q: I am 5'11 150lbs. Would you recommend a size S or M? I currently own a Cat 5 and wear a S/M and it fits perfect! Thanks!

  • Q: I saw a previous question about the suit being made of rubber and was wondering about that as well. Also, I am a "leg dragger" when it comes to swimming, using a wet suit almost exclusively to help with that. Does this suit provide any buoyancy, especially in the legs?

  • Q: What is the best way to wash and care for this suit?

  • Q: I've never worn a suit like this, I've always used tri shorts. Do you wear tri shorts underneath the suit and just take the suit off in T1?

  • Q: What is the life of this SwimSkin?

  • Q: How will swimming in chlorinated water affect the suit?

  • Q: How do I measure Torso?

  • Q: My zipper snags when I try to pull it down. Do you have any tips on easy removal?
