Good workhorse google

Nov 16, 2015 | Posted by RKSWANSON | Gender: Male Sport Interest: Swimming Age: 45-54

I have been through 4 pairs of these since 2009...ordering a pair of replacements currently. These are the best fit for my face, so I never need to wear them overly tight. I buy and use my googles in pairs, so I have realized a solid 3 year lifespan out of them with something like 250 swims on each pair. I know it is time for new ones when they start to leak - they finally do break down. Primarily used in pools, but used a number of times in open water. I have rarely used in salt water, but they have been fine. Spit prepping them, I have had no issues with fogging.

Good quality

These goggles are great for keeping water out. I never have any leaks. The are very tight though so they start to hurt my eyes after awhile. Overall good product though.

Nothing but The Nest

Nov 20, 2013 | Posted by Banks | Gender: Male Sport Interest: Triathlon Age: 25-34 Height: 6'

Best open water goggle I've used. Have been swimming in Nest for over 4 years and I'm afraid to go to any other goggle. A number of guys in my club wear them as well. Only complaint is the color offering. Let's spice it up TYR!

Foggy from Day one

Aug 6, 2013 | Posted by Grant | Gender: Male Sport Interest: Triathlon Age: 25-34 Height:

I bought these googles and expected a lot more from them. I have been on Speedo frames for 3 years and no problems. I thought I would try TYR. First day they fogged up within 200m. I switched to my backup speedos in case. I treated them and tried another day and they still do not perform. I'm disappointed and feel that i lost out on my money. Clearly the shop will not take them back. maybe other styles would work out, but not this pair.

Product Questions & Answers (4)

  • Q: These goggles don't seem to be adjustable, are they? Are they "anti-fog"? If yes, how do they compare to other "anti-fog" goggles?

  • Q: Are the lenses in the nest pro replaceable?

  • Q: Is the lens color dictated by the color scheme? I want clear lens but colored strap and frame.

  • Q: Does the "LGNST" mean large Nest" Do these come in a medium or small
