Color doesn't hold up. Suit didn't wear well.

I wanted to like this; coverage was decent, and I liked that it's reversible. BUT I wore it in a pool one time and it bleached out in every area that wasn't directly touching my skin (think belly button, and other unflattering spots to be bleached out). Horrible, horrible. I wore it inside out the rest of the time, and then that side started looking bad, too! Yuck. I hate spending this much on something that ends up being junked in a few months. Previous TYR suits of mine have lasted for many years.

Doesn't hold color
Feb 8, 2014 | Posted by | Gender: Female Sport Interest: Triathlon Age: 25-34
I bought this suit a few weeks ago and after only 4 visits to the pool, the blue is MUCH lighter now. I bought it because the blue was bright and vibrant. Now it is a dull blue color. I rinse my suit in cold water and hang dry after each use. The black side is still black and not faded at all. I'm curious why the blue side has become so faded. I bought this suit because its reversible, but I am quickly learning that I will soon only have a black suit.....

Not Worth It
Jan 26, 2014 | Posted by | Gender: Female Sport Interest: Swimming Age: 13-17 Size Purchased: 36
At first it fits, outside of water then once in water stretches really bad! I got this suit in November 2013, and payed $70 for it thinking it would last me a while. It was $70 it most be really good quality. No i was wrong it took 4 swim practice before it started to stretch and fade. I had to buy a new one! Now its a gross color , and it stretches so much water can get inside the suit and way me down! I'm really unhappy with this product!

The Five-Year Swimsuit
Nov 29, 2013 | Posted by | Gender: Female Sport Interest: Swimming Age: 25-34
By my best estimate, this suit has lasted me somewhere between 5 and 6 years. It still fits and has had no issues with performance. The bottom has finally started to pill on the black side and the blue side has begun to fade from chlorine. I will rinse the next one after every swim and aim for 7 years!

These suits simply don't hold up in pools. The fabric quickly stretches, becomes see- through, and pills. The fit is great, but not at all wortth the money. I wint buy another TYR.
