First wetsuit that does not restrict my shoulders at all -- very supple. This suit is crazy fast, I feel like a speedboat in the water.

I bought this mid season in 2011. Did IM and then took some time off. I experienced several tears for the limited amount used in '11. I pulled out the suit for this year, as Im back to training and the size I was back in '11... I put the suit on for the first OW swim this year, and while putting it on had yet another rip. Disappointed for such an investment, that it is so fragile.

Great in the water
author Sep 11, 2013 | Posted by | Gender: Female Sport Interest: Triathlon Age: 35-44 Height: 5' 8 Size Purchased: M/L
When I first tried on the suit I was concerned about the fit. It was really tight, but I was able to move (which surprised me). After 2 or 3 swims it felt great and it flys through water. I'm new to it, so I can't comment on durability, but the fabric is definitely delicate. Feels great on and blocks out 99% of the water. Comes off fast, but to be honest I never had a problem with getting a suit off fast. So far so good.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WETSUIT OR A WETSUIT FROM TYR
author Aug 21, 2013 | Posted by | Gender: Female Sport Interest: Triathlon
I purchased this wetsuit online from TYR at the end of the 2011 season and only wore it during races in 2012 and 3 times this year since I wear my old wetsuits during practice. I never wore it in chlorine only in lakes. I purchased a size larger than recommended because it runs small. Prior to the last race I noticed a 5 cm split in the seam between the legs. It filled with water as soon as i entered the water. I contacted TYR about their guarantee or repair policy and was simply told it as no longer covered. It is the most expensive wetsuit I have purchased the past 20 years and the only one that did not last. The seams are not reinforced like in other brands. I am very displease with their customer service.
