Want to love it but....

The previous review explains what is a major design flaw with this swimsuit. When the bra liners are in place the suit is wonderful. I love the fit, love the fabric and love how well it is wearing. However, every single time it is taken on or off or washed, the re-locating of the cups begins again. I will not make this mistake again. If I had realized how aggravating this was going to be I would never have kept the suit. Yes, there is an access hole in the side of the cup but don't think that makes the adjustment easy. It's a big nuisance. Swimwear should be designed to stay put.

A little problem

The fabric is perfect. The fit is true to size and the 'control' is nice. Doesn't fit so tight that you bulge out at the legs either. The wear, after 32 swims and handwashing is 'so far so good'....BUT there's this significant issue. The bra has these thin foam liners in it. They are not sewn down. They do not come out, they are not 'reachable'.
When washing, OR even hanging a suit to dry, the little foam pieces fold over, move about, crinkle up, and it take (insert a dramatic sigh here) too many minutes to right them...and when you think you have, you didn't. You put the suit on and you see a crinkle across your breastline. Pull the suit down, work the foam pieces again, and repeat.
TO THE COMPANY'S CREDIT, (btw, the on-line customer service form is miserable...call for help) they are allowing a one-time exchange...BUT the options are few and so bland: a one-color, slightly different neck with a twisted front...or the same thing in a tankini. Just not great options for me.
I have to think about this. It's hard to 'believe' that TYR doesn't fix this design flaw as it's truly a deal breaker (or would've been had I known about it)...So, this is my review. For those of you who don't have the time to fiddle 3-4 times a week after washing this suit, just find another.
* * * FROM TYR: Please Note: The Control Cups are removable. If You run your hand along the bottom portion of the bra area, you will find an entry hole to the cup cover. Cups can be removed and positioned through that hole. * * *

Product Questions & Answers (1)
Q: I just bought a TYR Ombre Stripe Aqua Controlfit swimsuit, Item #TSPQ7A. I can't find this exact suit on your website but this Panama swimsuit seems pretty close - same fabric content.. My question is about the care instructions. They say to handwash it in cold water after each use but not to use detergent. What kind of product should I use to wash it?
