Certainly no stranger to the sport of triathlon, Jan Frodeno has spent nearly a decade turning heads at the highest level of competition. Since then the 2x Olympian has kept the triathlon world on its toes.  Making history in 2015 he became the first triathlete (male or female) to win both the Olympic Triathlon Gold and the IRONMAN World Championship title. Most recently, Jan clinched his second IRONMAN World Championship win in 2016.

As the national governing body of swimming in Denmark, the Federation is responsible for a number of imperative responsibilities. As a truly iconic figure in the world of sports, Ryan has earned his status as one of history’s most recognizable names in swimming. TYR Sport Signs on as Exclusive Swimwear Supplier for Army Swimming and Diving

With a mission to educate, train and inspire the next generation of Corps of Cadets, the United States Military Academy at West Point is a renowned institution known for developing excellence both in and out of the classroom. At the helm of Army’s swimming and diving programs is eleven year veteran head coach Mickey Wender. During his tenure, Wender has not only led both the men’s and women’s teams to top finishes at the Patriot League Championships, but has also coached 89 cadet-athletes to Patriot League Honors.

The 2015-16 season was the most successful for both the men’s and women’s teams in recent history. Boasting a combined 20-2 record, the teams have not seen such joint success since the inaugural season of the women’s program in 1978-79. In addition, both squads finished as the runner-up at the Patriot League Championships, which is the highest simultaneous finish in program history. Other accomplishments in his tenure include two Patriot League Championship Swimmer of the Meet honorees, five Diver of the Meet selections, one Rookie of the Meet, one Scholar-Athlete of the Year and two CoSIDA Academic All-American certificates.

Hailing from Corvallis, Oregon, Jacob has garnered a number of impressive results throughout his career. Prior to his fifth place finish in the 200m backstroke at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Jacob won the national title in the 200m back at the 2015 Phillips 66 National Championships. That same year he also won gold in the 200m back and silver in the 400m medley relay at the World University Games. Before embarking on what would become a stellar collegiate career at the University of California Berkeley, Jacob was a three-time gold medallist at the 2011 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships.

Jacob looks to continue his international success this week at the 2016 FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) in Windsor, Canada, before returning to Cal to prepare for the future.

With major performances for the University of Tennessee under her belt, Hannis has undoubtedly been one to watch. Highlighting her time as a Lady Vol with two NCAA titles, she helped the University of Tennessee to win both the 200y and 400y medley relays at the 2013 NCAA Championships.

In 2014 she was at it again, winning the 100y breast title and taking second in the 200y breast at AT&T Winter Nationals. Kelsi earned three medals at the 2015 Pan American Games, including gold for her swim in the 100m fly. Most recently, she further lowered her own American and NCAA Records in the 100y fly at the 2016 NCAA Championships on her way to yet another collegiate title. This summer Kelsi hopes to take her success to new heights at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska, where she will be vying for a chance to represent her country at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

TYR Sport Signs World Championship Medalist Lindsay Vrooman

Making waves at Indiana University, Lindsay became a Big Ten record holder and 2014 NCAA Woman of the Year Nominee during her time as a Hoosier. Placing second in the 1650y free at the 2013 AT&T Winter Nationals, she then went on to earn major podium finishes at races like the 2014 FINA Short Course World Championships, where she earned bronze for her swim in the 800m free relay.

Turning heads at the 2015 World University Games, Lindsay won one gold and two silver medals for her swims in the 800m, 1500m and 400m free. That year she also championed both the 400m and 800m in the same stroke at the Phillips 66 Nationals.

A National Team Member since 2013, Lindsay now has her sights set on the world’s stage. This summer she plans to attend her second Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska.
