As a community based non-profit, Tucson Ford Aquatics is focused on helping swimmers to find success in the water at every age, level and distance. Home to hundreds of athletes including team TYR’s own 4x Olympic Gold Medalist Matt Grevers and 2x Olympic Medalist Nick Thoman, Ford Aquatics consistently creates an environment that emphasizes knowledge, healthy living and true sportsmanship.
Giving back is a staple of the Ford culture– whether that be through drives at the Tucson Food Bank or mentorship programs between senior athletes and age group swimmers. As a launching pad for those with the highest of aspirations, Ford remains a united group that works tirelessly to impart both swimming and life skills on each and every team member.
“At Tucson Ford Aquatics re-branding has been a top priority. We are ecstatic to have entered into a relationship with TYR to assist in this mission. TYR has been on the cutting edge of the competitive suit market, and we are grateful for the support and assistance we have received thus far. We look forward to a long relationship with TYR,” stated Tucson Ford Aquatics Head Coach Paul Stafford.
“Tucson Ford Aquatics represents a true standard of excellence in the swimming world,” began Steve Furniss, Team Management Director of TYR Sport. “As a brand we could not be more excited about this partnership, and we look forward to supporting Ford’s talented program as they strive toward continued success in the future.”
