Tom Shields is an American swimmer who swam for the University of California, Berkeley. In 2016, Shields placed second in the 100 and 200-meter butterfly events at the US Olympic Swimming Trials. In 2021, he qualified for the Olympic Team, placing second in the 100m butterfly. He currently holds the short-course American records in the 200-meter butterfly.
