Hurricane Wetsuit Series Warranty


All TYR Wetsuit warranty claims must be processed through an authorized TYR Sport retailer or with TYR Sport directly. TYR Hurricane wetsuits (C1, C3, C5 and Freak of Nature) are designed as high performance triathlon and swimming equipment and are engineered to exacting standards.

All TYR Hurricane wetsuits are supported with a warranty on both manufacture and materials for one year from date of purchase (proof of purchase is required). As a result, TYR will replace or repair any defects that occur within normal wear and tear at their discretion. This covers the failure of any seams, zippers, or fabrics.

Please note: TYR reserves the right to determine normal wear and tear. As a guideline this requires the customer to follow wetsuit care instructions on the original hangtag and take reasonable care to maintain the wetsuit. Exposure to elements such as direct sunshine and extreme heat, prolonged chlorine exposure and other harsh or abrasive substances can and will accelerate product degradation and void warranty. Due to the high performance technology used in our wetsuits, fingernails and other sharp objects may tear and/or rip the neoprene in your TYR Hurricane wetsuit. TYR will not repair or replace items that have obvious abuse such as rips and split seams, or where there is clear evidence of inadequate care or treatment.

Product that is covered by repair or warranty may be exchanged in either the retail place of purchase or through TYR Sport Inc. customer service directly. Product warranties are void if purchased used or second-hand and through any unauthorized dealer, classified ads of any type and on-line auction sites.

When returning a TYR Hurricane wetsuit, please ship with your preferred vendor (i.e. Fedex, UPS, etc.). When doing so, please obtain tracking information as proof of delivery. We will do everything in our power to expedite the exchange / repair process and send the new or repaired wetsuit in the same manner and Standard priority as sent to us (when processing is complete). For example: if you ship, UPS Ground, we will ship back to you UPS Ground.
