Seal Beach, CA- April 3, 2018- TYR Sport is proud to announce the re-signing of 9x IRONMAN 70.3 Champion Josh Amberger to its roster of sponsored athletes.
Having leapt into the world of professional triathlons at just 18 years of age, Josh Amberger certainly knows a thing or two about hard work. Winning his first IRONMAN 70.3 in Singapore after having only raced the distance once prior, he has since taken home nine 70.3 wins and earned well over a dozen podium finishes.
With growing success in races all over the globe, Josh is recognized within the sport for both his impressive swim and equally top-notch cycling. Most recently, the Australian sensation won first out of water in the men’s professional division of the 2017 IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
“Whether I’m treading water in Kailua Bay or diving off the Hornblower in the cold waters of San Francisco Bay, I rely on TYR to give me the biggest advantage on my competition from the gun,” began Amberger. “TYR is a leader in innovation & quality, and I trust them to work as hard as I do.”
“It is clear by his performance record that Josh Amberger is a talent on the rise,” began Matt DiLorenzo Chief Executive Officer of TYR Sport. “As a brand we are proud to support his current accomplishments, and we look forward to seeing Josh continue to dominate in the years to come.”
