Athletes Set to Race at Short Course National Championships
The 2008 USA Swimming Short Course National Championships will commence this Thursday in Atlanta at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center. TYR swimmers include 3-time Olympic medalist Matt Grevers, 2008 Olympian Eric Shanteau, 6-time 2008 Minnesota Grand Prix Gold medalist Mary DeScenza, and 3-time 2008 Minnesota Grand Prix Gold medalist William Copeland, among others.
Additionally, Shanteau will be teaching young swimmers about water safety at the USA Swimming Make a Splash Day on Friday.Â
