Huntington Beach, CA- July 11, 2011- TYR’s Chrissie Wellington delivered yet another world record performance.  Earning her third straight victory at Challenge Roth, Chrissie eclipsed her own 2010 world record of 8:19:13 by exactly one minute with a reported time of 8:18:13.  Her final time was the combination of a 49:49 swim, 4:40:39 bike and a 2:44:35 run.  Outfitted in the TYR Hurricane 5 wetsuit for her swim and the TYR Competitor Race Kit for bike and run, Chrissie lead the race from start to finish finishing fifth overall among men and women.  Chrissie now turns her attention to Hawaii and the Ironman World championship.
