Purdue University won the men’s 10-meter platform and men’s 10-meter synchronized platform events at the 2009 USA Diving Spring National Championships at the Ft. Lauderdale Aquatic Complex. Indiana University also competed at the home of the International Diving Hall of Fame pool scoring near-perfect 9s on the final dive to take the women’s 1-meter springboard title. Synchronized divers from Indiana University and Purdue University teamed up to place first at the national championships in the women’s 3-meter synchronized springboard scoring 310.80. National champion Allison Brennan earned silver with her new diving partner in the women’s synchronized 3-meter event, rallying 282.30 points.
