Peter Breaks His Own World Record in 100 Backstroke
At the FINA World Cup Berlin, Peter Marshall broke his most recent 100m Backstroke (SCM) World Record. On November 15th, he recorded a time of 49.63. Days prior at the FINA World Cup Sweden, Marshall established the 100m Backstroke World Record of 49.94 on November 11th.
In Tracer Rise swimsuit technology, Marshall collected three World Records in four days. Even more, he accumulated four Gold, three Silver and two Bronze medals during FINA World Cup circuit.
Marshall progressively lowers the World Record pace in the 100m Backstroke (SCM). At the 2008 FINA World Cup, he improved the World Record by setting times of 49.94 and 49.63. His times in the 100m Backstroke at the FINA World Cup are a 1.4% improvement.
Marshall currently wears Tracer Rise technology for the FINA World Cup Series.
