The 2009 NCAA Championships ended on a high note as Purdue University broke the national record in the men’s platform diving finals. The diving team claimed victory in the six-dive tower event with a score of 530.45 and bettered the previous NCAA mark set last year by over 50 points. Overall Purdue University established national records in both the three-meter and platform diving competitions. The collegiate swimming and diving season concluded this evening at the Student Rec Center Natatorium on the Texas A&M campus.
