Nick Thoman and
Ariana Kukors both swam strong at the 2012 USA Swimming Grand Prix in Indianapolis. Gearing up for Olympic Trials this summer in Omaha, both athletes were in fine form.
In the Men’s 100 Back, Nick Thoman raced to victory in the event with a 53.85, just shy of his eighth-ranked season best of 53.78 from earlier this month. In the Women’s 200 IM, Ariana Kukors placed second in 2:10.76. The performance vaulted Kukors’ ranking to sixth in the world. Thoman was racing in the new
TYR AP12 Compression Speed Short and Kukors raced in TYR’s
Tracer B-Series.
