Huntington Beach, CA – October 3, 2011 – TYR athlete Magali Tisseyre dominated what was left of the Ironman 70.3 Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania.  In a race that saw the 1.2-mile swim leg cancelled due to dangerous conditions in the Delaware River, Tisseyre’s 13.1-mile run stole the show. Tisseyre’s run split of 1:24:59 helped thrust her into a 3:13 lead with half the run completed.  Finishing with the second best bike split of the day, only nine seconds behind the leader, Tisseyre finished with a total race time of 3:57:11, over five minutes ahead of the second place finisher.  The win gave Tisseyre her third Ironman 70.3 title of the year.
