Years Later, Olympic Medalist Hasn't Shaken Off the Water
Steve Furniss has been covered in the Personal Journal section of Tuesday’s edition by James Wagner.
Beginning the article with, “As an Olympic swimmer, Steve Furniss used to train twice a day, six days a week. Some days he would swim as much as 10 miles. He won a bronze medal for the 200-meter individual medley at the 1972 Games in Munich and competed in the 1976 Olympics.”
In 2009, the Wall Street Journal has been the only paper among the top 25 to record an increase in circulation, rising 0.6% to 2.08 million weekday copies.

Steve continues with comments on his TYR Racetech goggles within the “Cost and Gear” portion and ends the feature with, “In the water, he enjoys the silence. "I find it one of the most creatively stimulating times to think.”
