
Seal Beach, CA -- April 9, 2014 -- TYR Sport is elated to announce it has re-signed Jodie Swallow to the company’s athletic arsenal.
Kicking off 2014 with a bang, Swallow took her fourth consecutive women’s title at Ironman 70.3 South Africa. In total, she has earned eight podium finishes at Ironman 70.3 races, seven of which were first place.
This past weekend, she took third place at Ironman South Africa, where she had the fastest female swim of the race, with a time of 00:48:34.
Swallow’s athletic accomplishments include winning the 2013 Ironman Sweden, finishing third overall at the 2012 ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Championships, winning the 2010 Ironman 70.3 World Championships and representing Great Britain at the 2004 Olympics.
TYR is happy to have Swallow on its team, as she adds strength, endurance and diverse talent to the mix.
