Huntington Beach, CA – June 29, 2012 – TYR athlete
Ariana Kukors raced to a second place finish in the 200m IM at the Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska with a time of 2:11:30. By placing second, Kukors garnered the second spot on the Olympic squad in the 200 IM, an event in which she owns the world and American record.
Narrowly missing the 2008 Olympics with a third place finish in the 200m IM, Kukors was extremely happy to have punched her ticket to London for her first Olympics. Kukors best times include her world and American record of 2:06:15 from the 2009 World Championships, and her Bronze medal winning time of 2:09:12 from the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai, China.
