Becoming the first woman in the Big Ten Conference to break the 2:06 barrier in the 200yd breaststroke, Haley earned four Big Ten Championship titles throughout her college career. The breaststroke specialist brought home a win at the 2011 NCAA Championships in the 200yd breast and stayed on the podium with second-place finishes in the same event the following two years. Spencer has also found success in the long course format of the event, finishing second in the 200m breast at the 2011 ConocoPhillips National Championships.
